Robert G Wrubel, CFP® Senior Investment Consultant Rob Wrubel is a former entrepreneur and business leader who started his
financial planning and investment management practice in 2001. Rob joined
Cascade Investment Group in January 2007 to be part of an exciting, independent
investment firm dedicated to helping clients achieve their lifetime goals
through financial planning and portfolio management. Rob relocated to Colorado Springs from New York City in 1998 to be the Publisher of the Colorado Springs Business Journal. He had been Publisher of a magazine he founded in New Jersey and operated a family advertising agency. Rob donates time through his direct support of several organizations. He currently serves on the Cheyenne Village Board of Directors and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado Board of Directors, where he is the Treasurer. Rob recently finished his term as President of the Board of Directors for CASA of the Pikes Peak Region. He has had the great pleasure to be involved in the successful completion of a capital campaign to restore the Pikes Peak Library’s historic Carnegie Library. He has also served on the board of the Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities and The Children’s Hospital at Memorial Hospital’s Parent Advisory Committee. Rob has been involved with community organizations that promote an improved economic climate, including working with the Chamber of Commerce on the CEO Roundtable Steering Committee, the Colorado Springs Investor Network, the Peak Venture Group and Celebrate Technology. Rob is a 1999 graduate of the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute. He earned his Certified Financial Planning designation in 2007 after completing coursework through the College for Financial Planning. Education
